About Us

Why are our malas different?

Simple Rituals Studio was created with the belief that meaningful rituals don’t need to be long, complicated, or intimidating to be powerful.

We specialize in half-size malas, thoughtfully designed with 54 beads and a single guru bead. These shorter malas are ideal for individuals who may find traditional 108-bead malas challenging—whether due to time constraints, difficulty maintaining focus for longer counts, or simply a desire for a more approachable daily practice.

Each mala is handcrafted with carefully chosen crystals and infused with specific intentions during the creation process. While intention is woven into every piece, how you use your mala is entirely your own. There is no right or wrong way—your ritual can be spiritual, reflective, grounding, or purely personal.

Simple Rituals Studio exists for those who want spirituality to feel accessible rather than overwhelming, and for anyone who longs for moments of reflection without rigid expectations. My hope is that these malas help you carve out small, meaningful pauses in your day—gentle rituals that support presence, awareness, and connection in a way that feels true to you.

About me

Simple Rituals Studio was born from my own lived experience—both as a spiritual practitioner and as someone who navigates the world through a neurodivergent lens.

For years, I was drawn to spiritual practices, meditation, and ritual as tools for grounding and self-connection. Like many, I was introduced to traditional malas with 108 beads, but I often found myself struggling to complete a full round. Time felt limited, focus could drift, and what was meant to feel supportive sometimes became overwhelming. Instead of deepening my practice, it occasionally created pressure.

I began experimenting with shorter malas, discovering that 54 beads felt more accessible, sustainable, and kind. These shorter practices allowed me to remain present without forcing myself beyond my capacity. Over time, I noticed something important: consistency mattered more than duration. A few intentional minutes could be just as meaningful as a longer ritual.

As a spiritual practitioner, I believe ritual is deeply personal. It doesn’t need to follow strict rules or look a certain way to be valid. Ritual can be quiet, simple, intuitive, and flexible—something that meets you exactly where you are. That philosophy is at the heart of Simple Rituals Studio

Warmly,
